Dredge Operators	Operate dredge to remove sand, gravel, or other materials in order to excavate and maintain navigable channels in waterways.
Gas Plant Operators	Distribute or process gas for utility companies and others by controlling compressors to maintain specified pressures on main pipelines.
Hazardous Materials Removal Workers	Identify, remove, pack, transport, or dispose of hazardous materials, including asbestos, lead-based paint, waste oil, fuel, transmission fluid, radioactive materials, or contaminated soil. Specialized training and certification in hazardous materials handling or a confined entry permit are generally required. May operate earth-moving equipment or trucks.
Hydrologists	Research the distribution, circulation, and physical properties of underground and surface waters; and study the form and intensity of precipitation and its rate of infiltration into the soil, movement through the earth, and return to the ocean and atmosphere.
Meter Readers, Utilities	Read meter and record consumption of electricity, gas, water, or steam.
Nuclear Power Reactor Operators	Operate or control nuclear reactors. Move control rods, start and stop equipment, monitor and adjust controls, and record data in logs. Implement emergency procedures when needed. May respond to abnormalities, determine cause, and recommend corrective action.
Paving, Surfacing, and Tamping Equipment Operators	Operate equipment used for applying concrete, asphalt, or other materials to road beds, parking lots, or airport runways and taxiways or for tamping gravel, dirt, or other materials. Includes concrete and asphalt paving machine operators, form tampers, tamping machine operators, and stone spreader operators.
Pest Control Workers	Apply or release chemical solutions or toxic gases and set traps to kill or remove pests and vermin that infest buildings and surrounding areas.
Pile-Driver Operators	Operate pile drivers mounted on skids, barges, crawler treads, or locomotive cranes to drive pilings for retaining walls, bulkheads, and foundations of structures such as buildings, bridges, and piers.
Power Distributors and Dispatchers	Coordinate, regulate, or distribute electricity or steam.
Power Plant Operators	Control, operate, or maintain machinery to generate electric power. Includes auxiliary equipment operators.
Septic Tank Servicers and Sewer Pipe Cleaners	Clean and repair septic tanks, sewer lines, or drains. May patch walls and partitions of tank, replace damaged drain tile, or repair breaks in underground piping.
Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant and System Operators	Operate or control an entire process or system of machines, often through the use of control boards, to transfer or treat water or wastewater.
Water Resource Specialists	Design or implement programs and strategies related to water resource issues such as supply, quality, and regulatory compliance issues.
