Salary Calculators / Salary Data
The datasets of Job Search Intelligence are superior to competitors' offerings for the following reasons:
- Each occupation in each geographic region has a minimum of 25 respondents. Our competitors will report for a region with as few as 3 respondents per occupation, per region.
- JSI owns the largest current compensation datasets in the industry; with tens of millions of records.
- Our datasets are updated monthly.
- JSI uses job titles and descriptions created by the Occupational Network (O*NET), which is non-profit organization chartered by the U. S. Dept of Labor to maintain occupational classifications. O*NET job titles and the underlying descriptions are used by more than 400 industry trade associations and are available free at http://online.onetcenter.org/ JSI provides its listing free of charge, in Excel. Competitors typically use internally generated occupational classification systems.
- JSI's data is derived from statistically defensible survey and sampling methods. In almost all cases, competitors procure data from clients, which introduce sample biases to the datasets.
- Our patents pending program enables you to precisely define the characteristics and responsibilities of the employee. This is a completely unique and proprietary system for determining the market value of any worker.
The U. S. Department of Labor recognized only one entity as being the best in the business."The Job Search Intelligence program will query you for information relating to: education, employment history and other factors, to create the most accurate compensation and employment guidance available."
